What if we can bring the experience of mountain to a flat landscape at the complex?

Hansan (Korean cultural mountain) is the space defined by the movements & experience. Spacial dynamics are shared both in Korean culture and many other countries in the globe. Combination of preserving Korean sports heritage on the existing site and new will not only transform the metaphysical ideas to vital architectural space but also transforms the current perceived identity of existing site to the frontier of international business, sports, culture, and entertainment.

Adequately depicting the expression of Korean Tourism through the lens of the foreigner's I Tourist's understanding and interest as well as establishing the showcase of what makes uniquely Korea were the focal points, rendered and addressed by the core images of Korea throughout the developing this project. The image of Korea should be molded and characterized with time of the past, now and future of where Korea is heading to. Rather than merely formulating cultural abstraction into physical space, distilled core images that can represent the fundamental, aesthetic beauty of Korea; Korea has simple, elegant harmonious elements such as Yin & Yang, fluent liquidity on traditional folk paintings, and Hanbok - Korean traditional clothing. At the same time, there are much affection on geometrical, sophisticated beauty found in Korean language structure, traditional Korean architectonics, technological advances, daily life of many Korean and beyond, are deeply embedded to :make uniquely Korea. The predominate effort in this narration has been to spatially express, sample the essence of these images with kneading processes of spatially balance, harmony, and intensification

BRINGING THE OUTDOOR GARDENS TO THE COMPLEX SO THAT THE CITIZENS AND EMPLOYEES CAN WORK, REST, PERFORM CIVIC WORKS, AND BE CONNECTED. ALONG THE PROMENADE PATH IN THE OUTDOOR GARDEN, ART PIECES CAN BE PLACED, MUSIC / ACTING PERFORMANCE CAN BE PLAYED AND PROMOTED. THESE SETTINGS ( PHYSICALITY OF THE VARIOUS LANDING SHAPES & VIEWS, AND GRAND ROOF TERRACE ) CAN PROVIDE STAGES FOR NEW BUSINESS SUPPORT, EXPOS, OUTDOOR CONVENTIONS, AND MANY TYPES OF CIVIL EVENTS WHILE SURROUNDED BY GREENERY, PLANTS AND TREES IN THE GARDEN. ALL NECESSARY WORK / BUSINESS FUNCTIONS ARE WELL CONNECTED AND ACCESSIBLE THROUGHOUT THESE GREENERY PATH WHILE CAREFULLY PLANNED PUBLIC & PRIVATE & IN BETWEEN ACCESS AND GATHERING POINTS FOR ITS SECURITY, EGRESS ESCAPE.

Two floating slabs in the air during day and night while pedestrians walk through the retails on the street, capturing the attention of the drivers & passenger on the roads. The whole building facade became advertisement of the business. Unobstructed exposed slabs function as the space for the signage. The building slabs are lifted and curved up from one end to the other to provide feeling of motions.
